| Description: | PracticeMax, a provider of revenue cycle management and software services in the medical field, has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Developer to implement solutions that automate business processes and extend functionality of industry-standard software platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of such solutions and work with other team members (Junior Developers, Database Administrator, Systems Administrator, etc.) to ensure reliability and performance. |
| Duties: | Skills/Requirements:
- Visual Studio, .NET, C#, VB
- SQL (various flavors)
- Web Services and security concepts
- Self-motivation to thoroughly and correctly accept and complete tasks
- Sense of ownership and responsibility towards problems and solutions
- Work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Experience:
- Data Interfaces and Transformations (HL7, Healthcare EDI, XML, etc.)
- Healthcare IT background
- Business Intelligence/Data Visualization
Primary Responsibilities:
- Management of development projects
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing solutions
- Development of new solutions
- Documentation
Technologies:
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL Databases
- Various industry-specific solutions:
- Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Practice Management (EPM)
- Data interfaces and transformation (HL7/EDI)

- 4+ years relevant work experience
- Applicable Microsoft Certifications (preferred)
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (preferred)
