Description:The Clerical Support Specialist's primary role is to support the accounts receivable process, which may include working denials, submission of medical records and other documents to payers, bankruptcy and legal claims and other AR follow-up functions. Additionally, this position may perform various administrative duties, which may include mail, reception, copying, faxing, reception, supplies, scanning, legal documentation and other administrative and support duties.

Duties:*Works A/R follow-up as assigned

*Sorts and processes deposits, reconciles mail and payments

*Relieves Receptionist, to include answering and routing calls appropriately

*Legal documentation to include notifications to attorneys

*Provides support for clerical projects to include copying and filing and other projects as needed

*Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating need for various supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies and storing them as appropriate.

*Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:*High School diploma

*Computer skills including Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook), minimum 50 wpm.

*General office experience.

*Current valid driver's license, access to a vehicle on a daily basis and good driving record with current auto insurance. (Mileage will be compensated.)

*Consideration may be given to candidates with remote deposit experience
